You Are Only As Healthy As The Health Of The Soil
Being on top of the food chain is a big responsibility. Unfortunately, we are observing the dramatic results of being poor stewards of our soil as they are magnified by our serious health problems. Acid reflux is simply ONE of these problems. Our dependence on chemical fertilizers is causing a catastrophe in our ability to nourish our species as man is destroying the biological cycle. This can literally be witnessed clearly by simply observing the enormous epidemics of degenerative illness in our population. Through this observation, we can ascertain that Dr. Weston A. Price's statement, 'All disease comes from malnourishment' is quite correct and we can move on to properly understanding such particulars as acid reflux healing. The best fertilizer in the world is animal excrement, which provides bacteria for earthworms to process soil into humus. This humus then gives nourishment to the actual plants that support animal and human life. The American Indians understood this principle well as they respected the buffalo for giving them nourishment. Indeed some of the most prized soil on the planet was in the Midwest where the buffalo roamed for centuries.
The incredible soil research of Dr. Francis Pottenger, Jr., M.D., proves to us the intensely disastrous consequences of disrupting the food chain with 'modern technology.' In his feline studies, he took the excreta of cats that were eating different diets to fertilize various plots of soil. In one experiment, the plot was allowed to grow weeds and the other was seeded with navy beans. The plots were fertilized with variations of excrement of male cats eating these different diets: 1) Raw milk 2) Pasteurized milk 3) evaporated milk 4) sweetened condensed milk. The raw milk plots produced healthy weeds and beans, the pasteurized plots produced sparse weeds and beans, the evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk plots produced next to nada. The health of the soil was directly affected by the quality of the nutrients in the excrement.
In another experiment, Pottenger fed the cats different types of raw milk. The cats receiving a nutrient dense foods diet of raw milk from grazing cows were very healthy, but those getting raw milk from grain fed cows showed intense health and development problems. Not only was the food more nutrient-rich from grass-fed cows, so was the soil!
If we expected Mother Nature to be effectively replaced by miracle technology, the experiment has not worked. In order to secure the health of future generations, we must go back to the soil containing the nutrients from grazing animals'for this is the only gift which can renew and nourish our planet'our only home.
